get_net_info

Usage

get_net_info [-name] [-pin] [-type] <net_object>

Options

-name: Return the net name

-pin: Return the pin ID of this net

-type: Return the net type.

<net_object>: Net object

Description

Returns information about the specified net (referenced by net ID). Net ID's can be obtained by Tcl

commands such as get_nets.

The "-type" option returns "net".

The options "-name", "-type", and "-pin" are mutually exclusive.

Example

project_open chiptrip

create_timing_netlist

set nets [get_nets]

foreach_in_collection net $nets {

puts [get_net_info $net -name]

}

delete_timing_netlist

project_close
